Janet York called to let me know that her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Dazzle finished his MACh at the Syracuse shows this weekend. Congratulations to Janet and Dazzle and all those who helped Janet in their journey!!!

Team Monty (Chris Zincone and his 8-year-old Corgi Monty) along with Ilyse and Carly, the team mascots, went down to Maryland for what turned out to be a very successful weekend. They Q'ed 10/12 events with:
1st and a Q in Elite Regular (twice)
1st and a Q in Elite Chance/Gamblers (twice)
1st and a Q in Elite Weavers (twice)
1st and a Q in Elite Jumpers
3rd and a Q in Elite Jumpers
1st and a Q in Elite Tunnelers, getting his Elite Tunnelers title
2nd and a Q in Elite Touch-n-Go finishing his Elite TNG Title!

At the CNJ Hound Assoc & Afghan Hound trials in New Jersey:

Florence Scarinci and her Pembroke Welsh Corgi Coach QQ'd on Saturday getting a 2nd in Standard. Florence's "Corgi with a tail" Penni won their Exc BP class on Saturday.

Stefanie Rainer and her BC Gin won their Exc B Standard class on Saturday. On Sunday Stefanie's Papillon Storm won his Exc B JWW class.

On Saturday Heather Kaczmarek and her Cairn Terrier Logan won their Open JWW class and her Cairn Terrier Skipper won his Exc AP JWW class.

Joanne Hass's English Springer Spaniel Timely won the 16" Exc B JWW class on Saturday. On Sunday she was 3rd in JWW.

Dorene Evans' Aussie Vico came in 2nd in the 16" Exc B JWW class on Saturday.

Kathy Kealy and her Labrador Mollie Q'd in Exc B JWW on Sunday.

Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club's All-Breed Agility Trial and Golden Specialty

Sandy Washburn and her Golden Trader Q'd in Exc B JWW with a 2nd place on Friday and a High Scoring Golden award. On Saturday they went on to get their 18th UDX leg with a 3rd place in Open B.

On Saturday Phyllis Covino and her Golden Ace took earned his third RN leg with a 98 and 3rd place!

On Thursday Lise Pratt's Dart (Trader's sister) finished their AX and AXJ with a 1st and 2nd place and High Scoring Golden, which made her sire Goose a GRCA Outstanding Sire with his first litter! She then went on to get her first MXJ leg.

Not to be outdone by his daughter, Goose QQ'd on Thursday placing 3rd in both classes, for his 10th QQ, putting him into the GRCA's Agility Dog Hall of Fame. On Friday Goose picked up his 11th QQ with a 1st place in Standard with High Scoring Golden and 4th place in JWW.

Terry Nolan and her Papillion Jig won their Exc A Standard class!

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper got their 16th QQ on Saturday and qualified in JWW on Sunday.

Joanne Hass and her English Springer Spaniel Timely QQ'd on Saturday with a 4th place in Standard and QQ'd again on Sunday with a 3rd in Standard.

Stefanie Rainer and her BC Gin took 2nd place in Standard on Saturday in the incredibly competitive 20" Exc B class!!!!!

Stefanie's Papillion Storm QQ'd on Sunday, with 2nds in both classes.

Donna Nolan's Jack Russell Terriers had a fabulous weekend:

Kelly Q'd in both Elite Veteran Jumpers and Elite Tunnelers.

Teddy Q'd both days in Elite Jumpers placing 2nd and 3rd; Q'd and placed 2nd in both Elite Weavers classes and Q'd and won 3 out of 4 Elite Standard runs.

Wiggles Q'd in both Elite Jumpers classes placing 1st and 2nd, completing her Superior Elite Jumpers title. She also Q'd in 2 out of 4 Elite Standard runs placing 2nd in both and Q'd and won her Open Weavers completing her Open Weavers title.

Again while in PA at In The Zone’s trial on March 8/9, 2008 Donna Nolan’s JRTs had another fabulous weekend:

Kelly Q'd in both Elite Veteran Jumpers placing 1st and 3rd and Q'd and placed 2nd in Elite Tunnelers.

Lise Pratt and her Golden Goose Q’d in Exc B Standard. Her Golden Dart qualified and won her Exc A class.

Karen Lechner and her Yellow Labrador Grady finished the Open Standard title with a first place.

Michelle Foster’s BC Billy Q’d in Novice Jumpers both days with a 1st and 2nd place finishing their NAJ. He also got his first Open Standard leg. Her Golden Cody was entered in Open standard for the first time and brought home a blue ribbon!

MEANWHILE DOWN IN FLORIDA

Lisa Jacobs’ Aussie Molly QQ’d at a trial on Friday March 7th and got a Standard Q on Saturday and JWW Q on Sunday.

Steven Jacobs’ Aussie Ruby won her Novice FAST, Novice JWW and Novice Standard classes!!

And word has it that the Jacobs have a new addition to their family – a new Aussie puppy named Annie!! We cannot wait until they return to New York so we can congratulate them on the newest member of the Jacobs’ family.

When Chex's puppies were born I did not keep up with the blog for lack of time. But with the 2008 trial season upon us, here is what has been happening recently.

NEWS FROM FLORIDA

Steve Jacobs and his Aussie Ruby made their debut in December winning their novice JWW class and taking second in Novice standard. Then at the Daytona trials won their Novice FAST class both days!

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly finished their MXJ before leaving for Florida and while enjoying the warm weather down there finished their MX and OF titles. Following that, at the Daytona trials Molly Triple Q'd both days, winning her FAST class, getting a 3rd in Jumpers and 4th in Standard.

Noel Walter and his young Viszla Sam made their agility debut at the New Year's trials and finished their Novice Agility title. Some time after that Noel fell down a flight of stairs and was temporarily paralyzed. He is able to walk again and is back in New York awaiting surgery. Please keep Noel in your thoughts and prayers.

NADAC News 2/16-17

At a NADAC trial in Delaware Team Monty (Chris Zincone and his 9-year-old Corgi Monty) Q'ed in 9 out of 12 events with 7 1st place Qs and two 2nd place Qs, including 2 of those elusive Elite Jumpers Qs! Monty also finished his Elite Weavers title :o)

DCKC - Aston, PA 2/29 - 3/2

The first trial of the season was a cold one, even though it was indoors. There were lots of great runs - some with Qs and some without. The news that I have gotten so far is:

Sue Levine and her Golden Retriever Gabe finished their AJP.

Joanne Hass and her English Springer Spaniel Timely went 6/6 over the weekend!

Lise Pratt and her Golden Goose qualified in Exc B standard on Friday.

Karen Lechner and her Labrador Retriever Grady won their Open Standard class on Saturday.

Michelle Foster and her Golden Cody debuted this weekend. On Friday they won their Novice JWW class and got a 2nd in Novice Standard; on Saturday won their Novice Standard class and qualified in JWW, on Sunday they won their Novice Standard class, finishing their NA!

Sandy Washburn and her Golden Trader got their first QQ, which was also their 2nd MXJ leg and 3rd MX leg.
