Lise finished my Golden Retriever Cash's MX title this weekend in Aston, PA. A huge thank you, Lise, for running Cash while I am home with Chex's pups.

Donna Nolan's JRT Teddy finished his NADAC Elite Weavers title.

At Garden State Norwegian Elkhound Club's AKC agility trial in Aston, PA:

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely QQ'd on Saturday with a 4th in Standard

Michelle Foster and her BC Billy got an Open Standard leg, winning the class more in 20
seconds under standard course time!

Not only did Lise finish Cash's MX this weekend, she also QQ'd on Saturday.

Donna Nolan's JRTs had another great weekend:

Teddy Q'd and placed 1st in Elite Weavers and Q'd and placed 2nd in Elite Regular on Saturday . On Sunday he Q'd in Elite Chances, Q'd and placed 2nd in Elite Regular and Q'd and placed 1st in Elite Weavers, completing his title.

Kelly Q'd and placed 1st in Elite Tunnelers on Saturday and Q'd and placed 1st in Elite Jumpers and Q'd and placed 4th in Elite Tunnelers on Sunday.

Wiggles-Q'd and placed 2nd in Elite Jumpers on Saturday, then on Sunday Q'd and placed 2nd in Elite Regular.

People were sure busy this weekend in a lot of different venues!!

TITLES:

Although she is not a SNAP student, she is a friend that we would like to congratulate - Teri Nolan and her Papillion Carmen finsihed their MACH at the SCDTC's AKC trial on Staten Island this weekend. CONGRATULATIONS, Teri and MACH Carmen!!!

Cindy Groveman and her Golden Bonnie finished their JH down at Rebel Ridge in Maryland. After being in Goldens for many years, this is the first time Cindy has ever done any field work. In one month she finished Bonnie's JH and WC!!! I would say she is hooked!

Donna Nolan's Jack Russell Terriers Teddy and Wiggles both finished their NADAC EAC titles.

Phyllis Covino and her Golden Ace finished their Novice FAST title.

Goretta Nendza and her girl Sophie finished the NADAC NAC title at the Fast Pawz trial.

At Staten Island Companion Dog Training Club's AKC agility trial on Staten Island:

Karen Lechner and her Yellow Lab Grady won their Open JWW class with a blazing time of 24.53!

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely Q'd in JWW on Friday with a 2nd place and Q'd on Saturday then QQ'd on Sunday.

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper Q'd in standard on Friday and Q'd in JWW on Saturday and Sunday.

Linda Robbins and her Maltese Bailey QQ'd on Friday with a 4th place in Ex B JWW, QQ'd on Saturday, and Q'd in standard on Sunday.

Linda Berman and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Meadow got her first excellent standard leg with a first place.

Stefanie Rainer's Papillion Storm Q'd and took 3rd in JWW on Saturday.

Stafanie's BC Gin Q'd and also took 3rd in the tough 20" Standard class.

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly got another MX leg on Friday and QQ'd on Saturday.

Ellie Hughes and her BC Lark Q'd and took a first in Novice Touch N' Go and Q'd with a second in Novice Weavers.

Donna Nolan's Jack Russell Terriers had a great weekend at the NADAC trial:

On Saturday Teddy Q'd and placed first in Elite Weavers, Q'd and placed first in Elite Jumpers and Q'd in Elite Chances. Sunday Q'd in Elite Regular completing his title.

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper got their Flyball Masters title this weekend.

Lise Pratt and her Golden Dart finished their Junior Hunter title.

Diana Frohman and her Golden Eddie finished their Junior Hunter title.

There were lots of new agility titles finished this weekend at Southern Berkshire Golden Retriever Club's trials at the Big E in West Springfield, Massachussetts:

Helene Friedwald and her Golden Boomer finished their MXJ.

Sandy Washburn and her Golden Trader finished their AXJ.

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly finished their AX.

Pam Rowley and her Viszla Gunner finished their AX.

Michelle Foster and her BC Billy finished their NA.

At Play-Bow Dog Training's Nadac trial in Rhinebeck, New York:

Donna Nolan's Jack Russell Terrier Teddy finished his Open Chances and Open Weavers titles, winning his Weavers class.

Donna Nolan's Jack Russell Terrier Wiggles finished her Open Chances title.


QUALIFIERS:

In addition to finishing their AX, Pam Rowley and Gunner picked up two more Exc B JWW legs.

Stefanie Rainer and her Papillion Storm doubled Q on Saturday with a 2nd place in standard. On Sunday they Q'd in JWW with a 3rd place.

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly QQ'd on Sunday after finishing their AX on Saturday.

In addiiton to getting their AXJ, Sandy Washburn and Trader also picked up their first two MX legs with MACH points.

Cindy Groveman and her Golden Bonnie got legs 2 and 3 toward their Junior Hunter.

Joanne Hass and her English Springer Spaniel Timely DOUBLE double Q'd this weekend with a 4th place in standard at PBGV's trial in NJ.

Michelle Foster and her BC Billy finished their NA with a second place and then picked up their first NAJ leg, winning their class.

Donna Nolan and her Jack Russell Terriers had a good weekend:

Kelly Q'd and was first in Elite veteran jumpers 8" (her 22nd Elite jumpers leg) and also Q'd and was third in Elite Tunnelers.

In addition to completing his Open Chances title, Donna's JRT Teddy Q'd and was first in Elite regular 12" on Saturday and Q'd and was third in Elite Regluar on Sunday.

Not only did Donna's JRT Wiggles finish her Open Chances title, she Q'd and was first in Elite regular 8".

Skyline Agility's trial was held this weekend at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights. The results I have gotten so far are:

NEW TITLES!!

Sandy Washburn and her Golden Trader won their Excellent A 24" standard class, finishing Trader's AX. On to CHE (www.caninehealthevents.org) to finish up their AXJ.

Phyllis Covino and her Golden Ace finished their NAJ with a second place!

Lise Pratt (my sister) ran my Golden Retriever Cash again this weekend and Q'd both days in Excellent B JWW finishing her MXJ. THANK YOU, Lise!!

QUALIFIERS!

Stefanie Rainer and her Pap Storm double Q'd and also won their Excellent B 12" class on Saturday (one of 7 dogs that Q'd on a VERY tough course.)

Terry Nolan and her Papillion Jig won his Excellent A class getting first AXJ leg on Sat.

Terry's Sheltie Keeper took 4th in Exc B JWW on Saturday.

Noel Walter's Viszla Sam finished his Master Hunter title the weekend of October 6th. Sam is just two years old and is now known as Sam The Intrepid Man MH!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Noel, on this tremendous achievement.

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club held a 3-day AKC agility trial in Willingboro, NJ this weekend.

Karen Lechner and Grady finished their Novice JWW title on Friday the 12th winning their class with a time of 18.91 seconds.

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely took 4th in Excellent standard on Friday, Q'd in Exc JWW on Saturday and Q'd in Exc standard on Sunday.

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper Q'd on Sunday in Excellent B Standard.


USDAA

Long Island Agility held its USDAA trial this weekend out at Cathedral Pines.

Stefanie Rainer ran USDAA for the first time in years and had a really good weekend. Her BC Gin Qd in novice starters standard and novice starters jumpers both with a 2nd place. Her Pap Storm Q'd in novice starters jumpers with a 1st place.

Team Monty (Chris Zincone and his Pembroke Welsh Corgi Monty) had a fabulous weekend, Qing in 6 out of 7 events (all masters/P3 8") with a 1st place and a Q in standard both days, gamblers, pairs and jumpers and a 2nd and a Q in snooker. This weekends Qs now have this team with over 100 Masters/P3 qualifying legs in USDAA!!!!! Best of all was his daughter Carley (pictured above) showed how great it is to be a member of Team Monty - helping her dad build courses all weekend.

Ann Kaiser and her BCs Tag and Tenor had a wonderful weekend at the LIA trial, as well. Both Tenor and Tag won 2 snooker, classes and got a Super Q. Tenor also won an Elite standard class and Tag won a gamblers class. To top if all off Tag finished her Bronze ADCH. Congratulations Ann, Tenor and Tag!!!!

Ladies Kennel Club held its agility trial at Old Westbury Gardens this weekend. The news so far is ...

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper were 2nd in Excellent standard on Sunday.

Dorene Evans and her Aussie Vico won their Excellent JWW on Saturday.

Linda Robbins and her Maltese Bailey Q'd in Excellent B JWW on Saturday, and double Q'd on Sunday with a 2nd place in standard.

Phyllis Covino and her Golden Ace got their second OA leg with a 1st place.

Michelle Foster and her BC Billy got their second Novice leg, winning their class.

Stefanie Rainer and her Pap Storm Q'd in Excellent JWW on Saturday with a 2nd place and then QQ'd on Sunday with a 2nd and 3rd. Just 5 more QQs until they hit MACH 2.

Stefanie and her BC Gin Q'd with a 1st place in Excellent B Standard on Sunday, bringing home their first MACH points - 34 of them - WOW!!!!

Lise and Dart got an Open JWW leg on Saturday a nd Open standard leg on Sunday, both with first places, finishing Dart's OA and OAJ.

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely won their Excellent JWW class on Sunday.

Karen Lechner and Grady won their two Novice standard classes.

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly Q'd in Excellent B JWW.

While I was home whelping Chex's litter (which you can see in the above photos), Lise ran my girl Cash, getting her 8th MX and MXJ legs.

CONTACT AGILITY

Team Monty (Chris Zincone and his Corgi Monty) had a great weekend at Contact Agility's USDAA trial getting a 1st and a Q in Masters/P3 Pairs, a 2nd and a Q in Steeplechase on day one. They ran round 2 of Steeplechase on Sunday and WON the 8" class!!! He also got a 1st and a Q in Masters/P3 Standard, 3rd and a Q in Grand Prix, and a 2nd a Q in Masters/P3 Snookers.

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely Q'd in Excellent JWW on Saturday with a 2nd place and Excellent Standard on Sunday.

Sue Levine's Golden Retriever Canterbury Touch By An Angel CDX, OAP, OJP “Gabe” completed his AXP title in the 20” Preferred class with a first place for all three legs.

Goretta Nendza and her All American Kelsey finished their Open Standard Title this weekend in Pennsylvania.

Kerry Degnan ran her Chessie Rooney in her first ever dog event. Rooney did a fabulous job picking up and bringing back every bird!! Although the Chessie club does not acknowledge the title, Kerry should be very proud of herself and her boy.

NASSAU DOG TRAINING CLUB's AKC OBEDIENCE/RALLY TRIAL

Sue Levine's Golden Retriever Canterbury Touch By An Angel CDX, AXP, OJP "Gabe" completed his Rally Novice title.  Not to be outdone, his 13-year-old “brother” Scottish Terrier Sir Willard Scott Macduff CDX, RN, AXP, AJP “Willie” completed his Rally Advanced title. 

Phyllis Covino and her Golden Ace got their first Rally Novice leg.

Pam Rowley and her Viszla Gunner got their first two legs toward their CD title.

ASCA NATIONALS

Steve Jacobs' young Aussie Ruby placed third in the pre-show 12- to 18-month bitches. Wow, what a way to start, and at the nationals, to boot!

Not to be outdone, Lisa Jacob's Aussie Molly took a 1st place in open jumpers and 1st place in open standard at the nationals pre-show. Then at the actual nationals Molly got 3 Qs in Open with a second and two thirds.

Greater New York Herding Club Match 9/21/07


Long Island was lucky enough to have another club hold a sanctioned match to become eligible to hold an AKC trial. So this time next year there will hopefully be yet another trial on LI (so we do not have to cross any bridges - yeah!!)

Last Friday GNYHC held its match and Pam Rowley and her Viszla Gunner QQ'd and won their 20" Excellent Standard and Jumpers classes.

Lise Pratt and her Golden Dart got their second Open JWW leg with a first place.

Kathy Kealey and her Labrador Mollie QQ'd in Excellent B today!!

Karen Lechner and her young Labrador Grady got out for their first Long Island trial. Although they did not qualify, Karen tells me that running Grady has reminded her of what this sport is all about - developing a relationship with your dog and having fun!!! Something that I hope I never forget - thank you Karen and Grady for sharing that with me!!!

This is the first of what I hope will be many posts sharing the news from SNAP students about their Qs and titles at agility trials throughout the year. Future posts will be composed from information sent to me directly from our students, in an effort to be accurate and to not forget someone. But since this is the first post I am doing it from memory. I apologize in advance if I forget someone.

Joanne Hass and her ESS Timely took 2nd in 16" Excellent B JWW.

Terry Nolan and her Sheltie Keeper took 3rd in the 16" Excellent B JWW class.

Ann Marie Weis and her BC Smudge finished their AXJ title today with a 1st place.

Bob Santoli and his PWD Casey finished their AXJ title today.

Karen Lechner qualified with Helene Friedwald's Golden Retriever Boomer in 24" Excellent B.

Lisa Jacobs and her Aussie Molly Q'd in 20" Excellent B JWW, with 2nd place.

My Golden Retriever Cash placed 4th in 20" Excellent B JWW class for her 7th MXJ leg.

Lise's Golden Retriever Dart got her first OAJ leg with a second place.
